The Lotus Elise S2 S was released in 2006 to replace the earlier Rover K series models and offered an affordable way into the Lotus brand. The ‘S’ is fitted with a 1.8-litre VVTLi Toyota engine developed by Yamaha that produces 134BHP. This engine offers a sporty but equally incredibly reliable drive making the S the perfect small British sports car. The S alongside the R was the facelift version of the S2 model range which means most notably Probax seats and LED rear lights are fitted.
This particular Elise was first registered in November 2007 and has covered 78,000 miles in this time with just one keeper from new. Hilton and Moss are selling this vehicle as a ‘project’ due to its current body work defects. Mechanically this Elise S is in great condition which is a credit to its full main dealer service history. The car has a current MOT until January 2023 and drives superbly. Hilton & Moss have maintained the vehicle for over 9-years now with yearly servicing to the official Lotus schedule.
