About Lotus Elite
The Lotus Elite is a two-door sports car that was produced by Lotus Cars from 1957 to 1963. It was designed by Lotus founder Colin Chapman and was one of the first cars to use a fiberglass monocoque body.The Elite was powered by a 1.2-liter Coventry Climax inline-four engine that produced up to 75 horsepower. It also featured advanced suspension and braking systems, with four-wheel independent suspension and disc brakes on all four wheels.
