Only a few roadsters have combined suitability for daily use and elegance as the "Pagoda". That´s the term for the type W113 from 1963 until 1971. Short to 50,000 units were produced from this type, around two-thirds were prevalent exported to the USA. The "Pagoda" was popular at the glitterati as well. The popularity extends into the present time, for many fans this SL remains one of the most beautiful Mercedes roadsters .Our 230 SL "Pagoda" was bought in Cannes from the current Norwegian owner in 1987. Around 20 years ago mainly the body was restored. Technical work was done later, all carried out by specialists. In 2011 comprehensive work was carried out at the engine and mechanics, invoices are available. In 2012 the complete interior was restored by a specialist in Hamburg/Germany. The 230 SL was maintained through a specialist each year. The combination of this beautiful and rare colour and high quality general condition shows an interesting offer.
