Dieses Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé in Silber kombiniert mit blau karierten Stoffsitzen wurde laut den vorliegenden Auslieferungspapieren am 23. November 1955 an die Mercedes-Benz Niederlassung nach London, England ausgeliefert und an seinen Erstbesitzer, einen englischen Anwalt übergeben.
Noch heute existiert ein einmaliges Bild, welches das 300 SL Coupé vor über 60 Jahren mit dem ersten Kennzeichen YPL 300 in den Straßen Englands zeigt. Anschließend kaufte der junge Bernie Ecclestone mit seiner Firma Compton & Ecclestone das Fahrzeug. Der Wagen wurde von unserer Firma technisch komplett restauriert. Dabei wurde der gesamte Motor inklusive Einspritzpumpe sowie Getriebe, Hinterachse und Bremsen überholt. Zudem wurde der Rahmen komplett neu lackiert. Im Inneren haben wir die Sitzkissen in der Auslieferungskombination erneuert. Der Himmel sowie die restliche Kunstlederausstattung sind noch im sehr gut erhaltenen Originalzustand. Im Kofferraum findet sich zudem noch der originale Wagenheber. Ein einmaliges 300 SL Coupé in technischem Top Zustand sowie mit viel Charm und optischer Patina.

This Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé in silver combined with blue checkered cloth seats was delivered on November 23, 1955 to the Mercedes-Benz branch in London, England, and handed over to its first owner, an English lawyer, according to the present delivery papers. Even today, there is a unique image that shows the 300 SL Coupé over 60 years ago with the first license plate YPL 300 in the streets of England. Then the young Bernie Ecclestone bought the vehicle with his company Compton & Ecclestone. The car was technically completely restored by our company. The entire engine including injection pump and transmission, rear axle and brakes was overhauled. In addition, the frame has been completely repainted. Inside, we have renewed the seat cushions in the delivery combination.
The sky and the rest of the artificial leather interior are still in very well preserved original condition. In the trunk there is also still the original jack. A unique 300 SL coupe in technical top condition and with lot's of charm and optical patina.
