Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing SL Coupé - 1955 1955

General description : Wir offerieren ein sehr originales und unrestauriertes 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé in Silber kombiniert mit originalem rotem Lederinterieur. Der Wagen wurde am 27. Juli im Werk fertiggestellt und anschließend an seinen Erstbesitzer in die USA geliefert. Dieser fuhr das Coupé bis 1972 bevor es lange Zeit in Besitz von Mr. Thomas Visalia, CA (1972-1990), sowie in der Sammlung von Rennfahrer Lothar Motschenbacher war. Der SL verblieb bis heute absolut unrestauriert, lediglich die Lackierung wurde dünn erneuert. Interieur, Himmel sowie Motorraum sind unberührt. Alle Typenschilder sind original, zudem erfolgte erst kürzlich eine Inspektion sowie komplette Einspritzpumpenüberholung durch den bekannten 300 SL Spezialisten Hjeltness Restorations, USA. Selbstverständlich hat dieses Fahrzeug die begehrten Matching Numbers.


We offer a very original and unrestored 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé in silver combined with original red leather interior. The car was completed on July 27th at the factory and then delivered to its first owner in the United States. This drove the coupe until 1972 before it was for a long time in the possession of Mr. Thomas Visalia, CA (1972-1990), as well as in the collection of racing driver Lothar Motschenbacher. The SL remained until today absolutely unrestored, only the paint was renewed thinly. Interior, headliner as well as engine compartment are untouched. All tags are original, moreover, an inspection and complete injection pump overhaul by the well-known 300 SL specialist Hjeltness Restorations, USA took place recently. We will deliver this sought after matching numbers coupé with new tüv and full HK-ENGINEERING delivery inspection.
