Including Victory Lane and Vintage Motorsports. Maps of racing routes and photographs of the car. All this add important historical color to this very extraordinary Gullwing's racing history, The race model was produced in 1100 pieces and this one really have a racing history. Furthermore has this car been owned by Mr. John Olson - a big Gullwing enthusiastic. Who also was editor and publisher of the SL Market letter in Minneapolis - Minnesota. Since then the car has been on other hands including a major car collection at the East Coast, United States for years, where it really was cared for. It has among others participated in: La Carrera Pamamericana - Four Ball Rally - World Sport Car Champiomship race - Coast to Coast Cannonball - Laguna Seca - and a first place overall at the Road America 300 SL Grand Prix in Elkhart Lake - Wisconsin. Furthermore it has been exhibited at the glamours Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The car was shipped back to Stuttgart in the 60s where it received a new aluminum motor complete with sports cam which is documented.
