1964 Mercury Marauder If you want unique then no need to look any further. When it comes to that classic 60's look the Mercury Marauders are one of the most memorable. Made just a year after the change in body style, this long Merc will certainly grab anyone's attention. The bright red paint looks great and is guaranteed to turn heads. All 215.5 inches of this ride is nicely done and gets attention wherever you go. From bumper to bumper all of the chrome and trim is in location and shining like new. The white vinyl top looks great on the car and has no tearing or wear. All of the exterior lights and electrical on the car is working so those troublesome repairs should be no worry. The car has a great stance and rides on a set of original wheels with the correct style hubcaps. The 390/270 horse power engine with 2 barrel carburetor is plenty of power and at its prime would create dreams in the minds of many 60's racers who want to leave an impression on the track. It is very nicely done where everything is painted or finished off very well. Most components are coated in black which looks great next to the perfect amount of chrome. The chrome is all factory which is only found on anniversary cars. The 3 speed Merc-O-Matic transmission shifts smoothly with zero issues, taking you wherever you need to go. It has power steering and power brakes which make any drive easy and are nice luxury features you don't always get with a classic. It just had a new power brake booster added as well as all new mufflers. The interior on this classic is in the all original condition and matches the exterior Red. The dash is in completely original condition with all trim and knobs in there correct place. Even the M-E-R-C-U-R-Y lettering is mounted and looking great. Think that an interior compass was a luxury on your new car? Well you won't get a digital readout in this classic but an original style floating compasses is in place on the dash. The vinyl seats look great on the car and even the carpet looks like new! This is a beautiful classic that would be a great addition to any collection. This is a car you just don't see very often!
