Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this elegant 1961 Morgan Plus 4, four-seater. The Morgan Plus 4 was introduced for 1950 and has been continually manufactured on and off to this present day. The 1961 version of the Plus Four was still basically the same car as introduced in 1950. The car was introduced as a slightly larger offering to complement the small Morgan 4/4. The Morgan Plus Four was built in keeping with the traditional Morgan construction techniques using a steel body over wooden frame all on top of a ladder frame with 'Z-Section' side members. The engine was built from the ground up from a Triumph Block, the win carbs were rebuilt and the gas tank flushed and cleaned, it has new brakes and rebuilt master cylinder, new brake lines, new cooling system, and belts, new lights, gauges were rebuilt, new upholstery, carpeting and insulation, rear end and transmission were rebuilt, firewall insulated. The body was disassembled, and paint removed to bare metal and then was repainted with 2 coats of primer then the base coast and clear coat. The dash has been refinished and it has a new steering wheel and new seat belts. This Morgan shows very well & is ready for weekend cruises, carving up the back roads like a Thanksgiving Turkey! This Morgan has a manual 4-speed transmission, Manual convertible top & vinyl interior. The driving experience provides the soundtrack & feels good comforts!
