Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 400 1967

General description : 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe W Rare Motor

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present a beautiful piece of Oldsmobile history. Before you is a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. These were fast cars back in the day, but as you read on you will see that this one has been modified with period correct parts that make it a stop light screamer. The fit and finish on this car is in very good shape for the age. It has been painted twice since it was new the original color of Spanish Red. The last time being about 15 Years ago and it presents very well today. All of the gaps line up like they should and all of the bright work shines so much you could shave in it. The only blem in the paint that you will see in the pics is in the middle of the hood. When the motor was getting swapped out, something hit the bottom of the hood an popped some of the paint off and was just touched up. The vinyl top that you see is the one that they car was born with. As you look around all of the pics you will see just how solid this car is. This is one of those cars that looks fast just sitting still. The American Racing Center Line wheels shine like a mirror and there is new rubber all the way around this sweet ride.
Now, as you work your way around the car, open up that big driver door to find a well appointed interior. This car was born with the Red, Vinyl, bucket seats that you see here. There is one piece on the driver side seat cushion where a seam has come undone, but no major rips or tears in the interior, or headliner anywhere. The car shows a little patina, but if you were born in 1967 you might be showing a little patina by now as well. That being said, you will see that this car has a newer steering wheel to ad a great look, you are also going to see power windows and A/C that blows cold for those really hot summer days. The other modern convenience that you are going to see is a JVC AM/FM/CD mounted in the dash so just in case the sweet sounds of the V8 music under the hood aren't enough, you can blast your favorite tunes as well.
Speaking of the V8 under the hood, that is one special piece. Under that hood is a 1967 W30 442 motor. This was installed about 25 years ago, and was pulled out and re freshened about 1500 miles ago. So, the miles that you see on the odometer are what is on the chassis, but not the motor. The stock motor that came in the Supreme was a 330 Cu In with about 320 HP. This sleeper now has a 400 that is putting out about 375 HP. This even has the sweet heads on it that had the biggest valves you could get at a 2.07 which really made this motor breath. All of this power is mounted to a TH350 and that all exits out to a 442 12 Bolt rear end with the SC code and the original 3.08 gears that it was born with. This means that you have plenty of power, but can get some fuel economy as well. Best of both worlds in the muscle car world. This car also has 4 wheel power drum brakes and stops very well. As you will also see in the undercarriage pics there us a great set of Dougs long tube headers which are not cheap and a dual exhaust sporting FlowMaster mufflers for that signature muscle car sound, and boy does this car sound awesome.
Long story short, you just need to get in touch with us today and make this car yours. If you are in to Oldsmobile's then you know that these cars are getting harder and harder to find in great shape, and this motor was extremely rare on top of it. The car needs to be in your garage today for the money. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the option. They offer great rates and terms and allow you to pay your baby off when you want to without any prepayment penalties. About Oldsmobile
Ah, Oldsmobile, the very name conjures up images of classic American automobiles and the open road. Let's embark on a leisurely journey through the annals of automotive history with this venerable brand.

Our story begins in 1897 when a man named Ransom Eli Olds founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Company. He wasn't the first to build cars, but he was a pioneer in mass production techniques. In 1901, Oldsmobile introduced the "Curved Dash" Olds, widely considered one of the first mass-produced automobiles in the United States. It was simple, reliable, and affordable, making it accessible to the masses.

Fast forward a few decades to the 1930s, and we encounter one of Oldsmobile's most iconic creations, the Oldsmobile Rocket 88. This was a car that not only looked cool with its sleek design but also packed a punch under the hood. The Rocket 88 featured a powerful V8 engine, earning it the nickname "the first muscle car." It was a true American classic, a car that epitomized the spirit of the open road and the freedom of post-war America.

As we approach the 1950s, Oldsmobile continued to innovate. The Oldsmobile Fiesta, introduced in 1953, was notable for being one of the first cars to feature a fully wraparound windshield, a design feature that would become a hallmark of the era. It also showcased the brand's commitment to luxury and style.

But perhaps the zenith of Oldsmobile's excellence came in the 1960s with the Oldsmobile 4-4-2, a car that was both sporty and practical. The 4-4-2 stood for 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts. It was a muscle car for those who wanted power without sacrificing comfort. It was the embodiment of the American muscle car era.

Then there was the Oldsmobile Cutlass, a car that became an American institution. It was a family sedan, a sports car, and a luxury car all rolled into one. The Cutlass was reliable, comfortable, and versatile, making it one of the best-selling cars in American automotive history.

Sadly, as the years went by, Oldsmobile faced challenges, and the brand that had once been a symbol of American automotive innovation and excellence ceased production in 2004. It marked the end of an era.

But the legacy of Oldsmobile lives on in the hearts of car enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone who appreciates the classic American automobile. It's a brand that gave us some of the most iconic cars in automotive history, a brand that embodied the American dream of freedom, mobility, and style.

So here's to Oldsmobile, a name that will forever be associated with the golden age of American automobiles and the enduring spirit of adventure on the open road.
