General description : For sale in the Fort Lauderdale showroom is this stunning 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Convertible. This fine example of an Oldsmobile was built in Lansing, Michigan and was under the same ownership until the late 90s. The car has been in Florida since around 2006 and is mostly unrestored, though the car overall is still in excellent shape. While the paint is not original it is in the factory original Tahitian Yellow and the interior upholstery and carpet do appear to be factory original. This Dynamic 88 is powered by a strong 394 cubic inch V8 backed by a sturdy 3 speed Roto Hydra-Matic transmission. Imagine cruising through town and turning heads with this drop top attention getter! The mechanicals have been thoroughly gone through to ensure the car is road ready for many more joyous miles. The engine was refreshed with new head gaskets, as well as heads and valves. Other recent mechanical work includes a complete exhaust system, 4 new Hancook radial tires, rebuilt transmission, new front and rear shocks, lower control arm bushings, new power steering hoses, new convertible top cylinder hoses and motor from Hydro-E-Lectric, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, new water pump, new electronic ignition, new brakes, new fuel pump and so much more.
