Plymouth Barracuda 318 1965

General description : Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a blast from the past in the form of a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. This will take you back to the days where the Barracuda made quite a mark in the muscle car movement in America. It is part of the 1st generation (64-66) hardtop fastbacks that had a very distinctive wrap around back window. The mileage is N/A. It was repainted about 7 years ago in the fender Tag correct Black with a Gold hood stripe. It stands as driver quality at the moment. While the car is very straight, it does have some flaws in the paint and the bumpers along with some of the trim do have signs of pitting. Per the previous owner he had it for about 10 years and restored it to present state throughout that time period. The back window is an awesome sight to see. It is definitely a focal point on this car. The 14 Rally wheels are the right ones for the car and give it a period correct look. The powertrain consists of a 318 cid Commando (2598030) (Heads #4027596 318 HP 1.88 1.60 valves) that is paired with a manual 4 speed transmission (A-833) and Hurst Shifter. Under the hood is also a Carter Carburetor, Edelbrock Performer, chrome topped breather, manifolds and a points ignition. The closed Posi. rear end has 3.55 freeway friendly gears. With that combodriving it is a blast. It runs and drives like a big block muscle car. The dual exhaust with chambered mufflers helps in the matter with the great sound that it emits. New brake and fuel lines as well as a new fuel tank and sending unit were all replaced during the restoration. E-brake does work. Inside the car you will find a black bucket seat interior. The seats are in great condition (both front and back). The gauges work. There is a tachometer mounted on the steering column for easy viewing and under dash aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges. The carpet is in great condition as well as the door panels. Whether you are getting into classics or been an enthusiast your whole life, this is the one for your driveway. Come on in, give it a test drive and you will immediately know that this is it.If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
