Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this unique 1966 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S. This red bright Barracuda Formula S hails from the same family since new! Ordered by the current owner's father, this "S" model left the factory with a 'hi-po' 235hp, 273ci V8, 4 speed manual, and 4.11 gears. However, the original owner instantly replaced the 273 with the now legendary "tri-power" (3x2barrel carbs) high winding 340ci v8. According to Hagerty vin checker, this is a real Formula S, making it a rare bird with only 2970 made in 1966. The car has been updated over the years with front disk brakes, air shocks, electric exhaust dumps, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, electric water pump, new interior, and Cragar wheels. This 66 Barracuda S is a 56-year-old family heirloom! How many one owner Barrcuda's, in this condition, are still around today? Not many! Now it's time for the torch to be passed to a new family. Adopt this hot 66 Barracuda S into your family, the memories created will be priceless. This Formula drives like a dream!
