Plymouth Belvedere 440 CID V8 1967

General description : For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very nice 1967 Plymouth Belvedere. Merriam-Webster defines ‘Belvedere’ as “A structure designed to command a view”. This old school 2-door is not only a beautiful sight to behold, but it’s also packed chock full of horsepower with a very healthy, ground-thumping 440 cubic-inch Chrysler big block V8. The Comp Cams .509/.509 lift and 247/254 duration cam gives it an unforgettable heartbeat that gets your adrenaline going almost as fast as the car. A 3-speed automatic 727 Torqueflite transmission equipped with a 2,800-rpm stall convertor gives a good launch and delivers the raw power to the rear axle with ease. The rear end contains a 4.11 gear ratio to complete the perfect trio for proper acceleration. Polar White paint covers the exterior of this car, standing up to the definition of its name, Belvedere, better than expected. This car may sound hot, but aesthetically it truly is cooler than cool, it’s ice cold! Try to avoid frost bite as you reach for the door handle. Open the door up and be welcomed to a fantastic black vinyl interior in excellent condition. The nicely kept cabin provides a smooth old-school look and feel that really brings you back to 1967. A modern radio brings a high-quality sound to an already great sounding car, but why anybody would want to listen to today’s drama over the deep rumble of this beastly engine is beyond me. This classic Mopar is the kind of car that you can race to the grocery store, or cruise to the drag strip. Options include: Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, and Vinyl Interior.
