Rare, Beautiful 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful, eye-catching 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook 2 Door Convertible with Cranberry Red exterior paint, white accents, a white convertible top and a matching red vinyl / cloth interior.  You’ll find a 218 cid straight-six engine under the hood with a 3-speed manual column shift transmission and this rare roadster has been fully restored with custom paint, a power convertible top, a 6 volt charging system, whitewall tires with wire wheel hubcaps and so much more.  It is also in incredible, like-new condition as well with simply sensational curb appeal.
Painstakingly Restored Back to Factory Specifications
The current owner of this 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible has enjoyed it since 1996 but unfortunately, we were unable to learn much about this desirable roadster’s life story.  We can tell you that it has been painstakingly restored in recent years back to factory specifications in what must have been a complete rotisserie restoration.  While we are unsure if the drivetrain could potentially be original to this roadster, we can tell you that the craftsmanship goes above and beyond throughout this classic to make it as authentic as possible to the naked eye.  It is honestly one of the most impressive examples we’ve ever seen in person.
A closer inspection of this 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible shows gleaming show quality paint across a flawless exterior with sensational body lines, perfect alignments and excellent chrome trim.  There are probably imperfections to be found if studying this example inch by inch, but it appears exceedingly close to perfection throughout.  Even the interior lives to that standard with what seems like miles of supple red carpeting and cloth/vinyl fabric.  The instrument cluster, factory radio, steering wheel and gauges also appear period correct and largely free from blemish.
Simply Incredible Example w/ Serious Curb Appeal
Overall, this 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook 2 Door Convertible is a highly sought-after, well-maintained classic roadster that could have just pulled off the factory showroom floor a few months ago.  While we may never fully know this amazing classic’s life history, it literally speaks volumes in person and it is ready to enjoy.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Benicia, California showroom, give us a call at 707-748-4000, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # B11633 as well.
