Plymouth Roadrunner 1970

General description : Making a car look like an evil track monster is a fairly simple thing, especially if you're dealing with classic Detroit metal. First, strip off all its unnecessary bits, then add some sporty wheels, and then drop it down until it looks ready to roll up asphalt with the front end. While there are certainly exceptions, those three actions will generally set you on the right path. Back in the late 1960s, Plymouth decided to roll out their own track monster, so they did what any popular brand would do. They stripped their popular GTX model, threw in some monster power, decorated their already unforgettable paint palette with a popular cartoon character, and threw in a memorable horn for good measure. Okay so, maybe those last two points don't sound so tough on paper. But we guarantee one full throttle run in this resolute Road Runner will instill a lifelong respect for Plymouth's cartoon bird and his signature beep. A solid Motor City maverick that's been restored as needed, this brilliant B-body wraps blazing Lemon Twist aesthetics around an engaging 4-speed and 440 cubic inches of MoPar might! And if you're in the market for one of the muscle car era's most memorable players, it's just the animation you've been longing for.
