Description : Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to offer for sale this 1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This car was built from the parts GM has offered over the last 6 decades. The Car itself is a 1975 with a hood, bumper and grill from a 1971 Formula. I always liked the Formula hood, bumper and grill for the '70 to '73 is killer! This combination then had a steady hand lay down some sweet paint. The "war bonnet yellow" from the color chart used in 1971 for the Corvettes and has a healthy dose of silver metal flake added for just the right amount of extra shine. To complete the look, the Trans Am rolls on Boyd Coddington rims 17x8 in the front and 18X9 in the back. Inside this Thunder chicken, sorry, my pet name, you will find heavy bolstered front seats that hold you firmly in place The B&M quicksilver shifter has found a home in the center console and it is right at home and exactly where your right hand will search for it. Under the hood is an LS 2 6.0 Liter V8 from a Corvette. Now when this power plant was attached to the donor Corvette it pushed about 400 Horsepower this is a little more than the Trans Am produce in 1975 from the factory which was 200. The LS2 has a couple of extras like a sniper EFI throttle body, mid length headers and huge exhaust. A 4-speed automatic 700r4 gives you an extra gear to get you rolling down the highway and the 12-bolt rear axle divides the power and torque to the rear tires. Sub frame connector hold it all together. Together, that's a common theme here. This car is complete, and the owner and builder had their "stuff" together and this car came out as you would expect. Old school style and neck snapping fun. Options for this 1975 Trans Am include: Air conditioning, Power steering and brakes, disc on all four corners, Tilt steering wheel, leather interior, Posit traction, alloy rims and radial tires. This car is a beast and is ready to get to its new home, now is your chance!!!!!!!!
