Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible. The Firebird and Camaro launched the same year and were an instant hit. They were applauded and offered a nice alternative to the Ford Mustang- which had a 3 year head start in the Pony-Car market. And although Firebird and Camaro shared the same F body platform, Pontiac managed through the year to offer a very distinctive look over it's GM competitor. Firebirds differ from big brother Lemans & GTO A bodies mainly due to having a partial frame only under the front, and subframe & leaf springs in the rear. As a result, they are lighter... which made them winners at the dragstrips and with gearheads on the street. They also made eye-catching daily drivers. This particular Firebird has been rebuilt, with a 350 Chevy V8, with less than 50 miles on it since done and is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished with a red exterior, and black vinyl seats and convertible top. Options on this Firebird include A/C, vinyl interior, manual convertible top, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, and seat belts. This 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible is offered by our Detroit Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at http://www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
