Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this classic black 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Pontiac first introduced the Firebird in 1967, and the first generation of GM's F-body remained in production until the 1969 model year. The 1969 Firebird was also the last year that Pontiac offered a convertible Firebird until the 1989 model year and is one of only 11,649 Firebird convertibles made in '69. So, one could say that owning a convertible 1st Gen Firebird is special! This "Black 'Bird" is powered by a 350 CID V8, which is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts nicely through the gears. The 350 has been upgraded with an aluminum intake topped by a 4BBL carb, Hooker headers, and dual exhaust; so it's a bit more potent than it was when it left the factory! This finely kept Firebird has been kept as close as possible to the way it rolled off the line back in '69: the gloss black paint job is in good shape, and the black convertible top was recently replaced, so it still looks great. Inside, the gold carpet and synthetic leather seating remain in good shape, as does the woodgrain applique trim. The stereo system has been updated with an aftermarket AM/FM/CD/SiriusXM-capable Sony head unit with Bluetooth. There are a pair of 4-inch Kicker speakers installed in the kick panels, and a 10-inch powered subwoofer that's hidden in the trunk; so, you won't have to worry about hearing your tunes with the top and windows down! Other features and options on this 1969 Firebird convertible include Aluminum Wheels, Power Steering, low profile Radial Tires, and Seatbelts. Give our Houston showroom a call, or zip us an email, and we'll help you add this one to your collection!
