Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this cool, 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am tribute. This red 81 Firebird is a real looker. With bright red paint and a gold, black and silver screaming chicken on the hood, this thing is ready to go! Somewhere int's history someone had the hankering for a 1976 Trans Am, looked at their Firebird, and decided they'd make their own. All the aero, front fenders and hood have been swapped to those of a trans Am. The pitiful factory engine was yanked and a healthy (L75) 455 V8 was stuffed in its place. When the key is turned, the shaker rocks to life and torques over with a brush of the throttle. The body is rust free and shows no signs of an accident or abuse. The velour interior is finished in red and is rip and tear free. It also has little to no fading. The car is equipped with AC, AM/FM radio with cassette player. It's a great drive quality car that presents very well. The chrome 15" Cragers really give the car a cool period 80s look. This thing is a great throw back to the 80s. It will take you back! Make it yours and remember simpler times, or take it to the next level as the ultimate custom firebird!
