Pontiac Grand Prix Model J 1969

General description : Very original, unmodified, and unrestored time capsule with 55,000 original miles. Original Cameo Ivory paint, black vinyl top, and black interior. Interior is all original and in very good condition with the exception of a sun warped package tray and small hole in the headliner. Strong running original drivetrain (XH-code 400 engine, Turbo 400 auto transmission. 3.23 open rear axle). Loaded with 16 factory options including power windows, power vacuum door locks, power driver's seat, reclining passenger seat, AM/FM stereo radio (rare), original Space Saver Spare tire (very rare option), power steering, cordova top, Rally II wheels with original caps, rings, black center lugs, Rally clock, power disc brakes, tinted glass, AC, door edge guards, and heated rear window. All the power options work but the AC will need to be retrofitted to run modern refrigerant. The owner is technically the third owner but the family he bought it from in 2009 had owned it since 1970. It has always been garaged but has some rust in rear corner of both fenders, drivers door, and rear quarters behind wheel wells. There is also some rust developing at the bottom of the rear window under the top and in the trunk pan. The body is straight with no evidence that it has ever been in an accident, and the trim and window glass are excellent. Bumpers are also in very good condition.

The brakes have been completely rebuilt, the original radiator was redone with a new core, the exhaust manifolds were replaced with reconditioned correct originals, new fuel pump, original Quadrajet carburetor rebuilt by Tom Wilhite with a Cliff Ruggles kit, new battery, rebuilt wiper motor and new whitewall radials. The starter and fan clutch were also recently replaced. It has been very reliable.
The price includes delivery from the USA to port in Holland. We can assist with the VAT (6%) and customs (euro 450) as well as provide door to door delivery. With over 30 years experience in the classic car business, we can make the process of acquisition easy.
