Magnificent, Show-Stopping 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop with blue exterior paint and an outstanding black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with electronic fuel injection, a MSD ignition and an automatic transmission paired with a Hurst ‘His-and-Hers’ shifter.  This outstanding classic has also been painstakingly restored with power steering, power brakes, an aluminum radiator, Dakota digital gauges, BF Goodrich Redline tires and so much more- it is an absolutely gorgeous muscle car in person.
A Spectacular High-End, Multi Year Restoration Effort
The current owner of this 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop informs us that it’s originally from Corona, California and he’s enjoyed it since 2012.  After taking possession, he almost immediately began a multi-year restoration effort that saw this classic stripped down to bare metal, smoothed and straightened to perfection and then restored at incredibly high levels.  The entire restoration is fully documented as well with photographs, receipts and invoices to show that no expenses were spared in bringing this incredible muscle car back to life.
Today, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop still shows excellent in person with only minor levels of blemish to the exterior with a few minor scratches.  This is still a stand-out, show quality classic that really turns heads around town while also delivering that wow-factor out on the open road.  Acceleration is instant with a nice grip to the wheels and exceptional handling throughout the gears, with smooth shifting and very nice stopping power from the brakes.
This beautiful GTO muscle car will likely appeal to a wide variety of collectors due to its desirability and overall condition- you simply do not see examples of this caliber surface very often on the open market.
Very Well-Documented w/ Outstanding Curb Appeal
Overall, this 1967 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Hardtop is a tremendous classic that’s been restored the right way and maintained at the highest possible levels over the past decade.  A conservative asking price makes it all the more desirable, so come see this amazing muscle car today before it’s back in a private collection.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10658 as well.

Position in GM Hierarchy:
Distinct Identity: Pontiac occupied a unique place within GM, known for its performance-oriented vehicles and youthful branding.

Iconic Muscle Car: Considered the first true American muscle car, blending performance and style.
Specifications: V8 engines, powerful performance, and aggressive styling made the GTO immensely popular.
Pontiac Firebird (1967-1981):
Muscle Car and Pony Car: Shared the platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, featuring distinct Pontiac styling cues.
Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.
Marketing Success: Innovative marketing strategies and successful racing endeavors contributed to Pontiac's popularity and brand image.
Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
