Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1965 Pontiac GTO Clone. This ‘65 is claimed to be powered by a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with a 10-bolt rear end and 3.55 gears. This GTO also has extras that come with it including a Tri-Power manifold complete with carbs and air cleaners plus a set of Pontiac valve covers. Under the hood is organized and features power steering and power brakes.
This GTO clone has been repainted in a unique gloss Iris Mist paint that looks like a silver with purple mixed into it, in our opinion. Besides the paint theme and famous '65 GTO double stacked headlights; the American Racing 15" wheels wrapped in Radial tires finish out the exterior look. On the inside of this clone is vinyl black bucket seats that includes the center console, seat belts, an AM/FM radio, a white shifter knob, and woodgrain dash inserts. The current owner has provided pictures with the body off to show the level of restoration done to this '65. If you are looking for the '65/'66/'67 GTO style, this tri-power, 4-speed, bucket seat example is the one that you will want to own.

Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
