Pontiac Safari 455 V8 1957

General description : Extremely RARE 455 Fuel Injected PS 4WPDB Air Condition Rotisserie RestoUp for sale we have a gorgeous 1957 Pontiac Safari Wagon. There was less than 1300 of these cars ever made. The one we have for you has undergone a Nine Year Frame off Rotisserie Restoration. It was completed in 2013 and we have pictures of the car before and during the resto. To build a car of this quality it's best to start with a car that's rock solid and that's exactly what they did. All the panels have a near perfect fit, and the gaps around the doors and hood are phenomenal. Everything is covered in the two tone Tartan Red and Kenya Ivory Paint Scheme. No matter what angle you look at this paint from it's impressive. It has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish that really shows off how laser straight the body is. All 403 pieces of Chrome and stainless was taken off and professional polished, and the chrome was triple plated. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the 14” Pontiac Steel Wheels with the correct Hub Caps and Michelin White Wall Radials.
As you open the door you will see that the inside is also done in the two-tone Red and Ivory Color Combo. The custom Leather Interior is gorgeous. Looking at the door panels you will see they have been custom done with the speakers hidden behind them. Another nice touch is the front bench seat being Power. As you sit down and adjust it to your preference look around and you are going to be floored by how nice all the interior stainless is. Now look at the dash and you will see the classic instrumentation with all the gauges working properly. The vintage AC works off the factory controls, and the radio has been upgraded along with custom sound system. Before we move on notice the front windows are Power and all the glass is in excellent condition with the side slide glass opening and closing as it should.
This timeless classic has all the eyes you could imagine, but what about under the hood? Well no worries it's been upgraded to the 455 Pontiac Engine that's set up with the Holly EZ Electronic Fuel Injection. The engine is mated to the Turbo 400 Trans and the Era Correct Rear End. Driving this Safari wagon is an absolute pleasure as it comes with Vintage AC, Power Steering, and Power Brakes with four-wheel Disc. Not only are all the gauges working, but all the lights from the Fender Lighted Spears to the reverse lights work as well. When you look under this '57 you will be thoroughly impressed! When they pulled this car off the frame it was highly detailed and all new bushings were installed. Under the front, it has had the ball joints, bushings, and tie rod end replaced. For exhaust, it has the factory Style Manifolds with 2 ½” Pipes that go thru the Ultra Flo Mufflers and out the rear Bumper.
