Standing gleaming in its original colour combination of Teal Turquoise metallic coachwork with matching Turquoise hide. Our stunning Tempest GTO or warmly know as the ‘Goat’ because of it medium-size wheelbase and fitment 6.3 V8 engine is one of the most sought after of Muscle cars. While the GTO appeared in 1964, it wasn’t until 1965 that it really captured the attention of the muscle car crowd. The 1965 “Goat” remained a favourite of muscle car devotees even after it was outdriven in speed and power, thanks to its iconic status. Going from zero to 60 in the range of 6.1 seconds, it was one of the first cars to help create the muscle car phenomenon across the USA.

Our stunning example was built in coupe form from new and was completed in 1965 making it one of the phenomenal Muscle car examples which took America by storm. It was the king of the road as it benefitted with having Automatic transmission, Custom Sports steering wheel, Seat belts with outboard retractors, Pushbutton radio, Custom air conditioning, Power steering and brakes.
