Pontiac Trans Am 5.0L HO V8 1984

General description : RARE 15TH ANNIV, 5.0 HO, AUTO 700R4,LOW ACTUAL MILES, RECARO INT, COLLECTABLE!!

You can probably bet a cool limited edition of a famous sports car from a discontinued brand is going to be an expensive classic, right? Well this 1984 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 15th Anniversary Edition is the rare kind of collectable that's available at an ultra-affordable price...for now.
This is a true standout Trans Am. Sure, they only produced 1,500 of these – one of the lowest production figures for the anniversary models. But you never have to tell anyone it's rare. After all, the full white treatment on everything from the full body kit, to the slotted taillight cover, to the unique wheels. So people will instantly know this one is truly special. Plus, the blue accent package is amazing. Not only does the pinstriping surround the whole vehicle, but also it's in the details, like how it draws attention to the power bulge in the hood and its inclusion in the special white wheels. All of this is quite correct for this special edition, and white & blue are iconic T/A colors. This complete total package is a great reminder of the space-age worth of difference between the original car and this sharp-edged third-generation.
Inside is everything you want from an original anniversary T/A. It starts with those special Recaro seats that not only offer superior bolstering, but they also still retain their special Trans Am cloth inserts. The driver gets the three-spoke steering wheel with a white grip that matches the exterior. And yes, the horn cap is a special logo acknowledging this 15th Anniversary Edition. Beyond that, this proper sports car received a full set of clear analogue gauges. Because this was the top-of-the-line T/A for Pontiac, this one is loaded. It includes power windows, power steering, tilt wheel, the original AM/FM/cassette stereo, and provisions for air conditioning. And best of all, this Trans Am comes with T-tops so the whole world can see you driving this special edition.
The engine bay looks quite clean, and highly original – right down to the factory decals. So we believe that this is an original motor and the low mileage (averaging less than 1,300 annually) is correct. The High Output 5.0-liter V8 was the envied motor of the day. It has the right kind of torque to get this T/A off the line quickly, and made it one of the quickest factory cars of 1984. So while this is a four-barrel carb machine that is easily adaptable to modification, we like how the powerhouse remains exceptionally stock. The same goes for the four-speed automatic transmission that is perfect for overdrive cruising or a quick kick-down into performance driving. But the T/A's true ace up its sleeve is handling. These have been regarded as one of the most surefooted cars of the era, and items like the thick sway bars front & rear, as well as the four-wheel disc brakes are a big part of that reputation.
A well-presented and unique machine like this is a fleeting opportunity. After all, who knew something so complete and exclusive could also be so affordable? Call today!!!
