Here we have a 1977 Pontiac Trans AM for sale. Easily one of the most iconic movie cars of all time the '77 Trans AM will forever be renowned as “The Bandit Trans Am”. The one we have for you has put a modern flare on this timeless classic, and sports a jaw dropping appearance that hits the highway better than you can dream it to. From the moment you walk up on it you are sure to be wowed as there was no cutting corners on this phenomenal restoration. The body on it is arrow straight with all the lines being as close to perfect as you can ask for. Both Doors, the hood, and trunk all open and close with ease and have a near perfect fit. Looking across the front we can see the bumper is nearly flawless along with the grills and updated headlights. One thing that you might miss the custom-built splitter that is easily lose to the naked eye. Out back the rear bumpers, spoiler and taillights are equally impressive. The body on it is covered in a stunning Base Coat Clear Coat Black paint that shows off the laser straight body. It's had countless hours spent cutting, polishing and buffing it to a mirror finish that looks 10 foot deep. Everything is accented by the Matte Black Trans AM Emblems and Lettering. The Ram Air hood looks amazing along with all off the glass and trim. To finish off the looks it's sitting on a brand-new set of 18” Forged Weld Wheels with Firestone Firehawk Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior or this '77. On the inside it sports a ton of upgrades as well. The seats are done in the Ultra Leather that are Red and give a perfect complement to the black exterior. It's got the front bucket seats with center console that houses the automatic shifter. You can also see that it has a custom set of door panels that flow perfectly with the seats and have billet accents. The carpet has been replaced new and is done in red as well and it also has had a new suede headliner installed. Looking at the dash it's been customized as well with a custom wrapped dash pad all new gauges along with new gauge surround that has a classic feel but has also been incorporated in the door panels and vintage air controls. Speak of the updated Vintage AC and heat the controls are in the console and we can also see that a new stereo system has been installed. It features the digital radio, all new speakers, and kicker amp with subwoofer that's hidden in the trunk. Looking in the trunk you'll be impressed with the excellent work they did to make it flow perfectly with the interior and excellent functionality.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Pontiac. Under the hood the attention to detail is matched by none just like the rest of the car. It's powered by a GM Performance 330 HP crate motor built on the 350 platform. It's got a complete front runner serpentine belt system. The inner fenders and firewall are just as slick as the exterior and it has custom radiator support cover looks amazing. To keep it cool it has the Aluminum Radiator with an Electric Fan. The V8 engine is dressed in custom valve covers, wire looms and the Ram Air air cleaner. For exhaust it has Headers with dual stainless pipes and stainless flow master mufflers. Along with AC it also has Power Steering and Power Brakes with WilWood Disc up front and the larger 11” Drums out back. When you look under this Trans AM you will start to really appreciate the phenomenal work done on this restoration. All new body bushings have been installed. All new floors were installed and that were professional finished. The sub frame and frame rails look amazing. All the suspension has been upgraded with Heidts tubular control arms up front with large sway bar and all new bushings throughout. Out back it has a new sway bar installed along with a 12 Bolt Moser Rear end with a 3.42 Posi Unit. The V8 runs through the all-new turbo 350 trans. We can also see all new fuel and brake lines were installed along with a new tank. Up front it's set up with adjustable Coil Overs and out back it also has adjustable shocks. On the highway you won't find and better handling and more pleasurable Trans AM than this stunning '77.
