Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this wicked 1994 Pontiac Trans Am for sale. Bathed in a gorgeous shade of metallic Teal, this car looks like a big boy's Hot Wheels! But, if you think it looks good in its teal-over-gray cloth interior, open the hood and you'll revel in the gorgeous contrasting high energy orange engine bay, giving it that show car look. We'll give you a bullet list of the specs but suffice it to say that this '94 Trans Am has one of the most sophisticated "live axle" vehicle suspensions around, until you get to a pure Trans-Am Racing Series purpose-built racing car (which, obviously, you're not driving to a car show in). Look at the undercarriage photos on our website: this baby has "THE BEEF" (apologies to Wendy's)! Starting with a complete custom front end setup: UMI tubular K-member, control arms, subframe connectors, Konis, strut tower brace...it's all there! Then you get to the back half and note that this car is set up for some high-performance floggin' in the twisties; or just eating your buddy's 911 for lunch at the Autocross...AND, speaking of Autocross, this car and its driver took 4th place in the Street Modified class in the 2013 SCCA Reno event! The Strano Performance springs and Konis keep things planted and damped, and the Fays2 Watt's Linkage keeps that axle centered under the body as it moves vertically. What you'll feel is that this car corners like a slot car, even when the pavement gets a little "hiccupy" (made that word up, but you know what we mean). These Gen 4 F-bodies can be tricky in mildly bumpy curves when equipped with a stiff, lowered suspension, but the Watt's Link keeps that rear from getting squirrely when the road is bumpy or undulating. If you like to go around corners so hard that you bang your (and your passengers') head(s) on the windows, this hot '94 Trans Am is THE ticket. Combine the suspension with some super gummy BFG G-force Rival T/A meats, and Corvette big brakes, and you can bet you could shake some fillings loose in folks' molars. Advice: grab some airline vomit bags next time you fly and put them in your glove box for your front passenger: those Schroth multi-point harnesses will keep front seat occupants firmly secured in the seats at all times. So well, in fact, that no one will be able to lean out the window mid-race and spray the car behind you. But that's a good thing, of course! Don't miss out on such a brilliantly put together track car that you can still legally drive to the car show! And now for the rest of the goodies:

** The builder does recommend one future enhancement: install the reluctor gear in the rear end. Moser Engineering mistakenly omitted the ABS option in their build of this rear end but sent the reluctor gear upon notification. This is the reason for the "ABS INOP" indicator. Front ABS works, but the rear does not (without reluctor gear). The reluctor gear is included for the buyer who wants to install it and have both front and rear ABS function.
