Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am! Rolling in with a brown exterior and saddle interior this bird is ready to fly!

1979 model years received a front end restyle and marked the 10th anniversary for the Trans Am. This bad boy has the Oldsmobile 403 engine which should be it is spinning a 2.73 rear end gear after the TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. Translation? Cruising comfort on the highway! The engine sounds appropriate and responsive.

Little is known or available on the history of the vehicle, but there is evidence of at least one paint job. Overall the exterior presents well but upon close inspection there are various chips, cracks, and pops throughout various parts of the exterior. The interior is in comparable shape presenting very well, but not without faults. The AC for example is not blowing cold, but the radio, headlights/signals, and gauges appear to work properly.

Drive something different! These cars are reasonable to purchase and maintain! Everywhere you go in a classic like this you will see smiles and make friends!
