Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this cool, 1974 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This 74 Trans was originally a 400ci V8 car. But as things go with fast cars, that motor is long gone. In its place is a Pontiac 455 V8 with 49 states legal 4x heads, but the 4-speed manual remains. This makes for a great driving car. The 455 is topped with a 4bbl carburetor and a fully a functional shaker! That's right, when you mash that pedal, the shaker flap opens and sucks in all the air that big 455 can handle. The induction noise is AWESOME! Complimenting that throaty howl is a dual exhaust that'll have you smiling for miles. The Buccaneer red paint has a nice shine, and the panel fitment is far from bad. It's pretty good for a 48-year-old car. Inside there's more of the same, with rip free buckets and black vinyl everywhere. All the gauges are in working order and there's even an aftermarket AM/FM radio with CD. This one is like you remember. Honeycomb wheels, letter series tires, screaming chicken on the hood and chirping tires and throaty V8 for the win! Come snatch this cool 455, 4-speed, Bird before it flies away.
