New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive replica of a 1965 Porsche 356 2 Door Roadster with silver exterior paint and a beautiful burgundy vinyl interior. It is registered as a 1968 Volkswagen, built by Vintage Speedsters in 2013. You’ll find a 1915cc four-cylinder engine under the hood with a four-speed 3:88 manual transmission, plus front disc brakes, a black soft top, a great stereo system and so much more. This stand-out replica was built back in 2013 and it is in nice condition with a mere 8,125 miles showing on the odometer.

The current owner of this replica 1965 Porsche 356 Roadster had it built five years ago and has enjoyed it in the Castro Valley area since that time. We are still awaiting further build details but we can tell you that this is a very high-quality build with great curb appeal and quality components throughout. Out on the open road, it has effortless acceleration thanks to its lightweight body and the handling is excellent as well. It’s a gorgeous little sports car that simply begs to be driven daily.
The interior is really well-done with chrome-accented gauges and comfortable seating, plus an authentic Porsche steering wheel that really stands out. The engine bay is as clean as they come, so this example could be shown today without giving it a second thought.
