Porsche 356 Pre-A 1955

General description : In the summer of 1949 Porsche started production of the order # 356, also known as Porsche 356. The US importer Max Hoffman requested a lighter version so Porsche developed the Porsche 356 Speedster which went into production in 1954.Our 356 Speedster was built for US export on April 1, 1956, according to its Porsche certificate. The classic car is one of the last pre-A models and already the 1,600 ccm engine. We think that approx. 50 cars of this unique transition model were built. Complete restored and overhauled again by its current owner, this classic presents itself in immaculate shape. It is registered in Germany and a true rarity.
