Porsche 911 2.7 1974

General description : This beautiful polar silver 1974 Porsche 911 is part of the iconic 911 series produced by Porsche. It belongs to the G-Series, which was in production from 1974 to 1989.
The 911's design featured a sleek, aerodynamic body with a rear-engine layout. The 911 we have here has been treated to a 964-body conversion that looks like the 90 ' 92 style.
This Porsche engine is all stock and has the 2.7 liter air-cooled, rear-mounted flat-six that was treated to an extensive tune-up by Steinel's Autowerks in Twinsburg, OH. The 2.7-liter produces around 150 horsepower, which allows the car to reach a top speed of approximately 135 mph.
Backing the 2.7 engine is a 5-speed manual transmission which was rebuilt during the restoration and provides a direct and engaging driving experience while cruising down your favorite road or interstate.
The interior features a driver-focused layout with a simple yet functional dashboard design. The features include a compact instrument cluster, and comfortable bucket seats.
The Porsche 911 is highly regarded among Porsche enthusiasts for its classic design, driving dynamics, and the distinctive character that has made the series so legendary.

About Porsche 911 2.7
The Porsche 911 2.7 is a popular choice for hobbyist car enthusiasts due to its classic styling, excellent driving dynamics, and iconic status as one of the most recognizable sports cars of all time.

The 911 2.7 was produced from 1974 to 1977 and is known for its distinctive "ducktail" rear spoiler and its lightweight, agile handling. It was powered by an air-cooled, flat-six engine that produced 150-175 horsepower, depending on the model year.

For hobbyist car enthusiasts, the 911 2.7 can be a rewarding project due to its relatively simple mechanical design and the availability of aftermarket parts and upgrades. Restoring or modifying a 911 2.7 can be a challenging but rewarding experience, allowing enthusiasts to customize the car to their individual preferences and create a one-of-a-kind driving machine.

One potential drawback of the 911 2.7 as a hobbyist car is its age, which can lead to issues with rust, wear and tear, and mechanical problems. However, with proper care and maintenance, these issues can be addressed
