(As per the current owner):
"This FJ40 comprises a comprehensive restoration done with attention to every detail and under a rigorous restoration process.
It has been permanently in the highlands and shows no traces of rust on any of its parts. It has normally approved the annual technical check in the city of Quito.

Its stock 4.2-liter 6-cylinder in-line 2F engine along with its original 4-speed transmission are working great. It has a high performance 38mm Weber carburetor, all filters and fluids on the vehicle have been replaced recently. The 4WD system works correctly.
Its body elements are in very nice condition, presenting factory welding marks on the roof and sides. A complete disassembly job, oven painting and assembly with new bolts, screws and nuts was carried out. Its original removable cabin its in great shape.

The interior of this incredible Land Cruiser includes black vinyl upholstery work on seats, dash and panels. It has a Bluetooth sound system and new speakers in the back; the aftermarket radio is inside the Tuffy-brand metal security center console. The original radio is located in the dash. Additionally, it includes all its indicative metal platelets. All its instruments are operational, showing speed in kilometers per hour, battery voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level on the original panel.

New Good Year 7.50 x R16 tires with their respective original rims and hubcaps have also been fitted. It has the original rear wheel carrier. The brake and suspension system was reviewed, replacing the necessary components.
