The V8 Volante is a unique combination of sports car performance and handling, limousine luxury and the sort of open air motoring which has excited and thrilled customers for decades.

Described by former Aston Martin Chairman Victor Gauntlett as, ‘a stylish thoroughbred, beautifully built, luxurious, fast and immensely safe,’ the V8 was built in several variants, one of which was the more exclusive Volante convertible. 1978 saw the introduction of a much awaited Volante convertible, with a power operated fully lined hood.

Famous previous owners are always a bonus to any cars history and 15134 is no exception with the first entry in the registration document being Roger Taylor of Queen. In fact there have been just four owners in total – after Roger Taylor, the car was acquired by well known Aston Martin aficionado, Howard Masters, it was then the subject of a body restoration by Alan Smith Motors with re-trimming by Gary Wright, before the last owner bought the Volante in 2013. It is a reflection of the quality of that work that the car was placed third at the AMOC Concours at Blenheim in June 2000.

Throughout its life, it has been maintained and is presented today in outstanding condition in what many consider to be the ideal colour combination for the car. Buckingham Green coach-work with matching Mohair hood and Magnolia piped with Green seats, complemented with a lovely Green top-roll, gearbox facia tunnel and matching Green carpets, all remain in fabulous condition.

The V8 Volante for sale at DD Classics comes with a fully documented service history and a wonderful history file which includes numerous invoices, multiple expired MOTs and a service book with 19 stamps. Aston Martin, einer der bekanntesten britischen Sportwagen-Hersteller, wurde 1913 von Lionel Martin und Robert Bamford gegründet. Während seiner wechselFinanzGeschichte hat das Unternehmen zahlreiche Eigentümer über die Gesellschaft, die sich hatten, Sir David Brown, nur um einen zu nennen.
Zwischen den Kriegen Bertelli störte technischer Direktor und Designer aller neuen Aston Martins, also als "Bertelli Autos" bekannt. Dazu gehörten die 1 ½-Liter-"T-Typ", "International", "Le Mans", "MKII" seiner Rennversion, der "Ulster" und die 2-Liter-15/98 und seine Rennen gehen Derivat, das "Speed Modell ".
In den Kriegsjahren produzierte das Unternehmen Flugzeugkomponenten.
Im Jahre 1947 wurde Aston empfohlen und damit von Sir David Brown gespeichert. Überteuert erwarb das Unternehmen Lagonda im selben Jahr die ITS 2,6-Liter-Bentley WO gestaltete Motor. Beide Unternehmen gemeinsam genutzte Ressourcen und Workshops Schaffung der ikonenhaften DB-Serie von Autos. Im Jahr 1950 präsentierte sie die DB2, Gefolgt von der DB2 / 4 in 1953, DB2 / 4 Mk II im Jahr 1955, im Jahr 1957 die DB Mark III.
DB4 Mit seinen starken italienischen Geschmack und Bau wurde im Jahre 1958 eingeführt wurde, war die leichte Superleggera (Rohr-Rahmen) Carrozzeria Touring Körper in Mailand entworfen. Obwohl die Konstruktion und den Bau Techniken waren Italiener, die DB4 war der erste Aston gebaut bei der Firma Newport Pagnell arbeitet in Buckinghamshire, England werden. Die Sechszylinder-Motoren dieser Fahrzeuge von 1954 bis 1965 wurden von Tadek Marek konzipiert.
