Allgemeine Beschreibung : Cruisin Classics is proud to show off a new addition to the showroom in the form of a 1954 Buick Special Convertible. This 64 year old has been well taken care of and for it's 91K actual miles it has fared quite well. The power top comes in handy and makes the car look fantastic when it is down. The automobile looks quite impressive with outstanding chrome front and back, beautiful stainless trim and a front grill that we will argue could be one of the coolest of all time. The yellow body and the white convertible top is perfect for the time. Complimenting the car quite well are the wide white whitewall tires and the REAL wired wheels.
Under the hood you will find a 264ci Fireball Eight engine. The engine matched with the Buick DynaFlow automatic was a great combination. The trans gears were P-N-D-L-R on the column which was not an uncommon cadence for the time. The car also boats power steering, power assisted brakes, a super clean compartment and most of it's original parts.
Inside you will find a bench seat front and back that are as comfortable as can be and in awesome condition (no rips or tears). The dash, carpet, door panels, window wings, windows, heater, wipers, headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals all look or work properly. The radio does not work.
The undercarriage is in exceptional condition considering its age. Plenty of heavy metal underneath to support anything thrown at it. The suspension offers up a ride that is like floating on a cloud.
Overall...this is an exceptional car. The year is popular, the model is popular and when you can get one in this shape and condition coupled with actual mileage...pretty much a no-brainer.
