Chevrolet Bel Air 283ci V-8 1956

Allgemeine Beschreibung : 1956 Chevrolet Belair This rare, special ordered 1956 no-post 1039D Bel Air just screams class and sophistication like only cars of that era can. Meticulously cared for all of its life, this beautiful Chevrolet is ready to win shows or act as a comfortable cruiser with power and plenty of room for comfort for the whole family. This car has spent its entire life in the Pacific Northwest after being assembled in Los Angeles and is rust/corrosion free. The car is powered by a Super Turbo Fire 283ci V-8 that is coupled to an automatic Power Glide transmission and the original rear-end. It is outfitted with the Power Pack 4-barrel carburetor, full flow oil filter and a dual exhaust that sounds great all the way down to the classic chrome flat tips coming out at the rear bumper. The Bel Air has been restored and repainted in its original and extremely rare color combination of Grecian Gold and Calypso Cream that is absolutely eye popping attracting attention no matter where you go. All of the chrome and stainless are perfect and gleam like new, just as the glass does with its EZ Eye Tint option installed. The optional continental kit on the rear, and original wheel skirts, give the sedan very clean lines with a look of sophistication. The original wheels are fitted with the chrome Bel Air hubcaps that have been painted with trim to match the body supporting like-new wide-white tires. It is equipped with backing lamps, new molding, body sill shields, door handle shields and both outside rear view mirrors making maneuvering down the road much easier. The power brakes make bringing all of this Detroit steel to a stop as effortless as can be. Inside she is as beautiful as the outside with the gorgeous two-tone Black and Charcoal Yellow specked interior. It has the original Wonderbar Signal Seeking AM radio with auxiliary rear speaker which was tops for the day. All of the stainless, chrome and paint shine inside and are in need of nothing. It sports a black vinyl dash, optional interior lights and a clock on the passenger side. The trunk is as clean as the rest of the car and comes complete with a jack and tire change tool set.
