Completed in 2020 by Dirty South Customs in Liberty Texas, this powerhouse first rolled off the assemble line ready for work duty. By 2020, it was time to be refreshed with power, modifications, and custom touches everywhere you look.
Restored Meets Muscle
So, when building a pro touring resto mod, where do you start but with a 6.0-liter LS V8 that has been treated to goodies inside and out. Names like Texas Speed, MSD, Doug Thorley and of course Chevrolet all contributed to making this LS one mean powerhouse. And let's not forget what is attached to that engine, a 4L80E 4 speed automatic built by the techs at Wedell's Transmissions, Baytown, Texas.
Ride, Comfort and Performance
It takes more than power to make up a build like this, so included is Baer Hydro boost brakes full system with four-wheel Baer drilled slotted rotors. Riding on a full Ridetech tubular suspension front and rear along with Ridetech (Fox) coilovers and Hypercoil springs all four corners. Outback is a 12 bolt rearend with Moser axles and 3.73 gears built by Pyle Brothers. Staggered 20" and 22" Weld Ventura wheels sit on all corners.
Inside Style
The style inside is just as nice as the outside with a Kenwood BT radio, Kicker speakers front and rear, Dakota Digital gauges keeping an eye on what is taking place under the hood along with a custom TMI red plaid interior. Thinking outside the box, the builder also added a custom center console with light up cup holders.
