Finding a well cared for 70s pickup can be a difficult task, but locating a big block, a/c, "Round Eye" with a solid body and killer paint can be an impossible task. The majority of the Camper Specials produced in the 70's by Chevrolet met their demise long ago, but this brute appears to have carried nothing more than an occasional bag of mulch. Chevrolet lovers, what motor do you want in your truck? Say it with me...454! Doesn't that just make you feel better? And this rat motor has an Edelbrock intake and carb, accessory pulley system, air conditioning, headers and dual exhaust. Bill's Auto Restoration in St. Pete did the majority of the restoration and the current owner has receipts and photo documentation of the build. From body work and paint, new carpet, dash pad, headliner and upholstery, and a complete rewire there isn't much that hasn't been replaced or repaired. With parts prices and labor rates of mechanical and body shops being in the upper stratosphere today, what makes this Camper Special so special is the price! This truck is a steal!
