The 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle is a classic American muscle car produced by Chevrolet and the 1965 model year was part of the first generation of Chevelle's.
ZL1 427 Powerhouse
Sitting under the sleek cowl hood is an all-aluminum Chevrolet ZL1 427 big block pushing out 552 horsepower. Built with some of the best components on the market such as a Comp camshaft with mechanical roller tappets, Scat crankshaft, aluminum radiator and custom headers. All this power is also good for 534 lbs. of torque.
Transmission by Tremec, Rear End by Moser
Backing up all that power is a reliable Keisler Tremec 5-speed TKO 600 shifted via a Hurst shifter. The transmission pushes power back to the rear end via a dynamically balanced driveshaft. Putting the power to the pavement is a Moser 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears, limited-slip and 33 spline axles with "C" clip eliminators.
Suspension by Hotchkis
To make this potent Chevy handle, the builder went with only the best from Hotchkis. This includes front and rear sway bars, rear boxed lower control arms, adjustable upper rear control arms, tubular front upper and lower control arms along with performance coil springs. All combined, this mighty Chevelle can handle!
Time To Roll
Rolling on Schott wheels with 18' front and 19' rear all wrapped with Cooper tires. Up front is 225/45R18 and in the rear are 245/45R19. Stopping power comes from the power 4-wheel disc brake system from SSBC with custom stainless steel brake lines.
