This 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe is a very cool blend of vintage and new. After all, the classic Chevy lines are rendered in a slick and modern finish. Plus, everything from upgraded V8 power to an A/C interior make it ready for the road.
These Chevys seem ripe for some street machine attitude. The immediate pre-WWII cars kept getting more streamlines every year. So the factory's torpedo-style headlights, swept-back fenders, bullet-style taillights, and rounded trunk were already delivering streetrod style even before it was a thing! Of course, you take a little extra time with this primarily steel body, you get to massage the sleekness out of it a little more. Especially when you finish it off in a modern deep blue with a metallic element that loves the sunshine. The modern update to this classic Chevy is complete even includes a bright streamlined grille, big dual exhaust tips, and 15-inch polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
Inside, the two rows of gray bench seats have a nice tuck and roll pattern. It's continued on the door panels for a very cool custom appearance. The carpeting, door tops, and dashboard are done in blue to match outside for a uniform look that tells you this is a thoughtful build. It's all spacious enough for you to share with family and friends. There's even cold-blowing air conditioning to keep them all comfortable. As you look the full package, you'll spot other nice upgrades inside, and plenty of what makes this a better driver's machine. It includes a tilt steering column, grippy sports steering wheel, and a bright instrument panel with new crisp Dolphin readouts.
Under the distinct butterfly hood lies a 350 cubic-inch small block. After all, an updated Chevy deserves the best in hardy Chevy power. The V8 is topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke for good mix of power and steadfastness. You'll even spot nice supporting components, like a Summit Racing ignition, good hoses, and an electric fan. That's why you have an upgraded Mustang II-style independent front end.
