This 1964 Chevrolet Impala is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Impala was the best-selling car in America until 1965 and it is easy to see why. The classic lines of the Impala are still sought after to this day. This example has lived an extremely pampered life, except for a fender, the metal on the car is all original. Repainted back to its factory correct ermine white 30 years ago. The lacquer paint is still in great shape with no sign of wear. The chrome is in just as good condition shining just as it should. The old school Torque Thrust wheels really give it an updated feel with the 17’s helping to give it a modern look. Under the hood is the original 283 that still runs like it did in the 60’s. The three-speed transmission that is operated by the shifter on the column really brings you back to a different time and can considered a theft deterrent in today’s world. Inside the original interior is in great condition showing no signs of major wear. The dealer installed AC is original with the correct compressor being recently refurbished giving the unit a new lease on life.
