The 1968 model was facelifted with a new front end, The new rear bumper housed triple "horseshoe" shaped taillights. 1968 also saw a new Impala model, the Custom Coupe. This two-door hardtop featured the same formal roofline as the Caprice Coupe. It was a huge commercial success and would be continued right through 1976. These big body GM's are known to be a canvas for the individual who wants to make a statement but do it low and slow. This awesome 68 is tucking a giant set of staggered smoothie's that have been body matched in color and have a great presence that doesn't scream at you like chrome variants of the same size. The suspension has a simple street ride air system that gives you a great stance when lowered and when picked back up she floats going down the road. The air system is nice and simple with a standard compressor and 3 gal tank, the valves are mechanical so it provides the stance you want without all the fuss and hassles of complex electronic valves. This 68 is powered by its original 327CID and TH350 and has had a recent frame off restoration.It will really get up and go . This classic will turn heads wherever you go ..
