Chevrolet Nova 350 V8 1972

Allgemeine Beschreibung : 1972 Chevrolet Nova Introduced as the top model for Chevy IIs in 1962, the Nova became its own model when the Chevy II nameplate was dropped in 1969.  Vintage Novas were built on the X-Body platform and the name spanned across 5 generations.  A large redesign to the initial style happened in 1968 with the introduction of the 3rd generation.  This style lasted 4 years and is when we see legendary Don Yenko come into the picture.  This retired race car driver and muscle car expert took a selection of these Novas, along with Camaros, and packed them with performance options to compete with the other manufacturers.  The Nova specifically was often referred to as the "Yenko Supernova."  While this very cool '72 might not be a true Yenko it is badged as such for an extra cool factor.  The body is very solid, with no rust, and painted in a very clean Dark Metallic Blue paint.  The floors are solid with no issues.  It has nice chrome front/rear bumpers and all of the stainless has a nice finish as well.  The glass is all good and is tinted.  It has its stock headlights and taillights which are both working properly.  It has a tough muscle car profile and sits on custom wheels with flattened center caps.  The Goodyear Reatta 2 tires have plenty of tread and are P215/65R15. The motor is a crate 350 V8 and runs out well.  It has plenty of power and topped with a Chrome SS badged air cleaner and chrome Chevrolet valve covers.  The engine compartment has a nice look and they continued that Metallic Blue paint to the underside of the hood.  Backing the motor is a smooth shifting automatic transmission to send power back to the 10 bolt rear end.  The car has power brakes and the suspension is stock with leaf springs in the rear. The interior is finished out in a two tone Black with Blue pleated inserts.  It has a split bench seat with headrests up front with a bench seat in back.  It is all in good condition with Black carpet and a Black headliner.  The dash is topped with Black Autometer gauges mounted in custom rings.  It has AC/Heat with underdash vents.  It has its original steering wheel and shifts via the column.  The trunk offers plenty of storage space and houses a spare.  This car has been SOLD!
