This 1973 Dodge Charger is a terrific mix of vintage premium and true Mopar performance. It's a true hardtop with its correct and distinct color combo, and under the hood is a correct style V8 with all your favorite go-fast goodies.
The Dark Silver is the factory-correct color, but the shine it gives today tells you there was an investment in a quality respray later in life. It gives an upscale feeling that is continued throughout the rest of the appearance. The black side stripes harmonize with the deep silver paint for a subtly sporty look. And the factory-correct white vinyl roof is a classic premium piece that likes to get attention with its tasteful contrast. This was built right before the bumper laws dictated style, and so you have some of the most impressive ones ever put on a car. Up front the chrome king surrounds the grille and frames the headlights, and in the rear, it's expertly integrated into the design on the sheetmetal and taillights. Under the hood is a correct-style 318 cubic-inch V8 for this G-code coupe. It also doesn't take much to see this motor has been given a big investment in the right pieces. It starts with a Edelbrock upgrade suite that includes a cool/dark cast valve covers, matching air grabber, four-barrel carburetor, and Performer intake. And a set of long tube headers allow this upgraded V8 to exhale with added power and authority from the dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission is the numbers-matching unit, and the Slap Stick option allows you to take full control when you want. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As, and this makes for a great cruising Mopar.
