Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this cool Resto-Mod 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340! Dodge was covering all the performance bases in the late 60s and their marketing was firing on all cylinders. Dodge aimed the 69 Swinger at the at the 'all speed no fluff' crowd by starting with a base model Dart and sprinkling only the performance essentials on the option sheet. The focus was on the "Swinger" 340ci V8 with dual exhaust, Rallye suspension, Heavy-duty Limited Slip Diff with standard 3.23 gears (3.55 and 3.91 optional) and a choice of a heavy duty 427 TorqueFlite automatic or four-speed manual. On the exterior, Swingers were blessed with subtle engine call outs, a tail stripe emblazoned with a "swinger" call out and dual power bumps on the hood. This Swinger has ALL those goodies and more, like a shift kitted 727 automatic, and electric fuel pump supplemented with a holly pump on the block for reliability. Additionally, there's fresh brake drums and a set of new BF Goodrich tires. The focus on performance is maintained with headers and dual exhaust with by-pass ability. The interior is rip and tear free and sports tan buckets with a center console and a B&M ratchet shifter. The vin codes confirm this Dart was born as a Swinger 340 from the factory, but it's no longer numbers matching. Overall, this orange 1969 Swinger 340 is an awesome driver with all the thrills you'd expect of Mopar Muscle car!
