How does one describe a Dino206 GT? Where does one start? Is it the car’s exclusivity? The fact that between 1967-1969 only 152 were built? The near perfect proportions? The aluminium bodywork? Or even the fantastic 65 degree V6 Ferrari engine? Let’s start at the beginning. Enzo Ferrari wanted to market a smaller, cheaper car to rival the Porsche 911. His son Alfredo, Dino for intimates, had recently died. Alfredo was a Ferrari engineer who mainly concentrated on developing smaller racing engines, like the F2 2.0 V6 engine. To commemorate his son and not to interfere with the V12 Ferrari's, he decided to give the small car the Dino name. To reduce the risk of reputation damage it was decided to market the car under its own Dino brand. Our car is one of the 152 Dino 206 GT’s and has truly been restored in fantastic fashion. In the past Nico Aaldering commissioned a full “Nut&Bolt” restoration. Everything was done to bring this Dino 206 GT back to the highest level. The chassis and body were taken back to bare metal and re-sprayed in the original colour “Bianco Polo Park”. As one might expect with a top-level restoration the car’s condition is second to none. The car has fine, straight and correctly aligned body panels. Underneath the car is in perfect condition. The quality of the white uni-lacquer is perfect and lends a splendid understated aura. One look and you realise that this Dino 206 GT has been thoroughly restored with quality exuding from every pore. The 14 inch Cromodora wheels suit the car perfectly. The re-chromed details are in perfect condition. Everything is in tip-top condition and has similarly been well maintained. Not only does this Dino 206 GT look good on the outside, the interior is also fantastic making this a very desirable car. One look at the Veglia Borletti instrument panel will convince that you are in a very special car. The wonderful curves of the front fenders are in perfect view from you seat behind the wheel, allowing you to perfectly place this compact thorough-breed on the road. We are sure you will want to be driving this car as much as possible. Driving this car is a pure feast. The low curb weight and fabulous 2.0 V6 Ferrari engine provides tickles all your senses mile after mile. According to factory information the engine delivers 180 Hp at an ear-pleasing 8000 revolutions. The complete engine, gearbox and all other mechanical parts were rebuilt by specialists. The whole process was meticulously recorded with photos and invoices. The engine and gearbox are the original factory issued components. Als Ergebnis wurde Gardini verdrängt sowie Scuderia Ferrari Manager Romolo Tavoni, Chefingenieur Carlo Chiti, experimentelle Sportwagen-Entwicklungschef Giotto Bizzarrini, und eine Reihe von anderen, die von ihnen stand.
Ohne Chiti und Bizzarrini die Entwicklung dessen, was war es, das die meisten Inbegriff Ferrari geworden und heute der weltweit teuerste Auto, 250 GTO wurde auf einem Drehpunkt. 250 GTO Projekt wurde von einem jungen Ingenieur Mauro Forghieri und langjähriger Renn Klempner Sergio Scaglietti, die in abgestuften und über das Programm mit bekannten Ergebnissen nahm gespeichert.

Durch den Erfolg der späten 60er Ferrari Prototypen 'zu einem plötzlichen Stillstand kam durch einen neuen Konkurrenten, GT40. Ford drehte sich zu Lola, einen Ferrari zu schlagen Fern racer produzieren nach Enzo hatte den Deal mit Henry Ford II verschärfen absolut vor Wut kochen abgeschnitten. Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ford und Lola erstellt den mächtigen Ford GT40, die Ferrari gab einige schwere Treffer in Le Mans 24 kommen.
