Impressive, Head-Turning 1972 Ford LTD Convertible
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1972 Ford LTD 2 Door Convertible with Bright Lime exterior paint and a white vinyl interior.  You’ll find a factory correct, 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a 2bbl carburetor and the matching Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission, along with factory air, power steering, power front disc brakes, a power top, power windows and the factory radio.  This virtually 100% original classic convertible is in very nice condition as well with all its original paperwork and a lifetime of receipts from the single owner.
The VIN # breaks down as follows- 2=1972, U=Louisville KY, 61=LTD Convertible, S=400 V8, 113950=Serial Number.
Almost 100% Original Throughout w/ One Lifetime Owner
The current owner of this 1972 Ford LTD Convertible purchased it new on 10/15/1971 in Geyserville, California and he informs us that this desirable classic really hasn’t changed at all over the last 48 years.  The factory engine has been rebuilt once in its life and the convertible top has been replaced, plus there were some minor touch up to the front driver’s side fender to repair a ding a few decades back.  Otherwise, nothing has changed on this beautiful vehicle other than general maintenance.
Additionally, this 1972 Ford LTD Convertible has very nice curb appeal with a little shine still remaining in the factory paint and above average chrome.  You will find some typical nicks and scratches expected from a true survivor of this caliber, plus a gorgeous interior that really stands out in person.  Likewise, the engine compartment is typical of a true survivor and could use some light refreshing if the next owner chooses to do so.  The ride quality is still impressive even today though and this one could be enjoyed on the open road immediately.
