This 1971 GMC Suburban has been restored to have a terrific modern matte appearance, upgraded interior, adjustable air bag suspension, and a modern fuel-injected V8 under the hood. We love the matte silver and matte white two-tone. It gives this vintage Suburban a modern flair. In fact, even the bumpers and grille were painted to match for a very unique appearance. The driver gets an upgraded steering wheel, and beyond that is the full factory gauge package, including tach. But more than just the driver, this Suburban has a huge 127-inch wheelbase. So as mentioned before, there's plenty of space to carry friends, family, and all the toys. The upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod input means everyone stays entertained.
When you lift the hood, this one has the unmistakable look of power. It's a 5.3-liter Vortech V8 borrowed from GM's 2002 line of trucks. That means a healthy upgrade in horsepower and the reliability of fuel injection. This V8 makes a terrific sound out of the side pipes. But there's much more to this SUV than just its power. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt to include an overdrive lockout. So this is not only good for highway cruising, but also you can confidently tow the toys.
