The Plymouth ‘Cuda for the 1974 model year remained largely unchanged in the styling department compared to the previous year. The four-barrel “360” debuted in mid-year for the 1973 model and could be ordered in place of the pedestrian 318ci. The 360 replaced the 340 and was about as close as a muscle car lover could come to turning back the clock in 1974. A 1974 ‘Cuda equipped with the 360ci engine and four-speed can be considered a rare fish indeed. Only 398 four-speed cars were produced and from a collector’s perspective are relatively rare.
This rare 1974 Plymouth Cuda is equipped with its numbers matching 360ci engine backed by
the numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission. With only 45,600 miles on the odometer, this Cuda has been well preserved throughout its life with single ownership for nearly 30 years. Repainted in its original paint scheme of FE5 Rallye Red complemented by a A6XW Black and White interior, this ‘Cuda looks stunning. According to the Fender Tag, this ‘Cuda was ordered with the following options: Power Front Disc Brakes, Bucket Seats, Drivers and Passengers Painted Racing Mirrors, Sport Hood, Drip Molding, Wheel Opening Moldings, Door Top Moldings, Rear Tail Panel Trim, Dual Exhaust, Exhaust Tips, Coolant Recovery System, Tachometer, White Side Stripe and AM/FM Radio.
