Allgemeine Beschreibung : 1969 Plymouth GTX, The Plymouth GTX wasintroduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a"gentleman's" muscle car, In 1968, after oneyear of production, the GTX was given a completely new look. A new hourglassbody replaced the more box-like body of 1967. In 1969 the GTX received minorcosmetic changes, as well as the introduction of the optional Air Grabber hood,which made the hood scoops functional. The 1969 GTX was the last year that theconvertible model was available on the GTX (VIN RS27). The 1969 GTX also hadstandard black lower body side paint, replacing the dual, horizontal"racing" stripe on the lower sides of the 1968 model, VIN RS23L9G131573, This beautifulnumbers matching GTX came to us out of West Virginia. The previous owner purchasedthe car in 2013. The full rotisserie restoration was done in 2001-2002. Thereare roughly 5,000 miles on the build.
